Privacy Policy

Forged ("we," "us," or "the app") is a fitness app that gamifies your training, nutrition, and recovery. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Forged, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information needed to run the app and provide your experience:

• Account information: your email address, a username, and an encrypted password.
• Onboarding answers: your fitness goal, age, biological sex, height and weight, experience level, training frequency, dietary preferences, and any injuries you choose to share — used to personalize your plan and stats.
• Your fitness activity: logs you create — workouts, meals and nutrition, water intake, sleep — and any progress photos you add.
• Character & progress: your chosen class, stats, level, experience points, and streaks.
• Fellowship: friend connections you create with other users, and the leaderboard standings derived from your activity.
• Camera (optional): if you scan a food barcode or add a progress photo, the app uses your camera. Images stay associated with your account.
• Notifications (optional): if you enable reminders, a device push token so we can send them.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To save your progress, stats, streaks, and logs.
• To generate personalized quests and, if you use it, AI-assisted workout plans and food analysis.
• To show fellowship standings among friends you connect with.
• To send reminders you have opted into.

3. How Your Information Is Stored & Shared

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our hosting and database provider, and is protected by row-level security so that you can only access your own data. See Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

If you use the optional AI workout or food analysis features, the relevant details you enter are sent to Anthropic (the Claude AI provider) to generate a result. We do not send your identity or account details with these requests. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers above that are necessary to operate the app.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your character, progress, workouts, meals, logs, and fellowship connections. This action cannot be undone.

5. Children's Privacy

Forged is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through the app, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
